Acceleration is explained with example.
The rate at which object changes its velocity is known as acceleration. It is a vector quantity.
It is detonated by a.
a = velocity/time
Its unit = m/s2
When an object changes its velocity by equal amount in every one second is called constant acceleration.
Eg:-
A car cover reaches its destination in 120 sec. with the velocity of 60 m/s. Find its acceleration.
Ans-
Time taken by car = 120 sec.
Velocity of the car = 60 m/s
Acceleration of the car = velocity/time
= 60/120
=0.5 m/s2
