Vaporisation

Vaporisation is explained.

Vaporisation is the process in which liquid changes in to vapours by heat energy.

Eg:- Steam from water.

Types of vaporisation

(i) Evaporisation is a process in which particles of surface liquid changes in to vapour below boiling temperature and at environmental pressure. It is a surface process.

Eg:- Steam comes out from water before water stars boiling.

(ii) Boiling is the process in which liquid changes into gas state when vapour pressure is equal to or greater to the environmental pressure. It is a bulk process.
