(iii)Speed of the train and time taken to complete the same distance.

The above relationship is in inverse proportion.

Increasing the speed of train will cover the same distance in less time.

The above relationship is in direct proportion.

Increasing the area of garden will increase the number of plants.

 

(2)A car covers 100 km in 1 hour. How much distance will be covered by the car in 2 hours?
