Steps of construction –
(a)Draw a ray AB.
(b)Draw an arc at point A which intersects AB at point D.
(c)Draw another arc from point D with same radius which intersect previous arc at point E.
(d) Join AC. Angle CAB is of measure 600..
∠CAB = 600
Therefore, ∠CAB is required angle.
(2) Draw an angle of 11.250 at initial point A of AB.
(8) A gardener wants to put red rose pots on half of the line and yellow rose pots on other side of the line. How can he do it without use of scale?
Yes, gardener can do it. He has to perpendicular bisect line to place red rose pot on half of line and yellow rose pots on other half of the line.
Given – Line segment AB.
What to construct – Perpendicular bisector of the line segment AB.
Steps of Construction –
(a)Draw a line segment AB.
(b)Draw two arcs from points A and B as centres with radius more than half of the line segment AB.
(c)Draw arcs both sides of the line segment AB.
(d)These arcs intersect each other at points C and D.
(e)Join C and D. CD intersects AB at point E.
CD is our required perpendicular bisector of line segment AB.
Now gardener can place one colour rose pots on AE and other coulour rose pot on EB.
